Posts That Bring Clients — Privacy Notice
Who we are
David C. Griffiths operates Content Creating Academy and presents Posts That Bring Clients. This notice covers information handled for this webinar series. Contact [email protected] or 11208 Stephen Lane, Beltsville, MD 20705.
Registration and communications
We collect your first name and email to register you and send your meeting link, confirmation and series reminders. Providing a mobile number is optional. We send webinar reminder texts only if you separately opt in. We keep communication preferences and consent and opt-out records to respect your choices.
We use webinar registrations for this series and related support. We ask for separate permission before using them for unrelated marketing. An optional paid offer may be discussed during a session; registration does not sign you up for ongoing marketing.
Activity and participation information
Our registration and messaging system records form submissions, page visits, timestamps, campaign attribution, email opens through a tracking pixel, and clicks on email links to administer registration and understand use of the series.
We receive information you choose to provide in support requests and the live session, including your display name and questions. Other attendees may see your displayed name, camera, microphone contributions and group chat. Please do not share confidential client details or sensitive personal information.
Service providers and mobile information
Communicake and its underlying providers process registration records and deliver messages. Zoom hosts the live sessions, and we plan to use Fathom for recording. Authorized people administering the series may access relevant records. These services process information necessary to provide their services and also have their own privacy notices. Zoom: https://www.zoom.com/en/trust/privacy/privacy-statement/. Fathom: https://www.fathom.ai/privacy.
We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS consent records, or share them with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We may provide them to service providers supporting this reminder program as needed to operate it.
Recording and teaching replays
We plan to record using Fathom and provide registrants a seven-day teaching replay, excluding personal Q&A from the replay. The seven-day access period begins when the replay is made available. The recording may capture your voice, video, displayed name or questions when included in the session.
We will explain the recording and obtain necessary consent before capture. Contact [email protected] before attending if you do not want to be recorded. Keeping your microphone and camera off may not exclude your displayed name or chat from capture. Replay access ending is not the same as deletion of source recordings or related records.
Your choices
Email messages include an unsubscribe option. Text reminders are optional and not a condition of registration, attendance or purchase. Reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for assistance. You can also contact [email protected]. Email and text preferences are managed separately.
How long we keep information
We keep webinar registration, activity and support information while needed to deliver the series and resolve related support requests. We then delete information no longer needed for those purposes, unless you separately authorize another use or a legal obligation requires retention.
Source recordings and any related transcript or summary are kept only while needed to prepare and administer the approved teaching replays, address related requests or meet applicable legal obligations. We retain the minimum consent and opt-out evidence needed to honor your preferences and meet applicable obligations, separately from routine webinar delivery records.
Questions and requests
Contact [email protected] to ask about your information or request correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and retain information where required by applicable law.
